Most entrepreneurs first write their business plan and then
develop their services or products. This causes them to
generate and fulfill a marketing plan that requires them to
swim upstream using the backstroke. To save the stress,
consider placing the business plan on hold until first
completing a few customer surveys. Okay, some of you are
saying, “Catherine, how can you do a survey before you know
who your market is?” Yes, this is one challenging double
edge sword, that is, if you’re mindset is set there.
Over the years, I’ve found that everyone I’ve worked with
generally knew what he or she wanted to sell. I don’t
believe you are any different. This is the perfect place to
start. You have a clean slate to write on. You might be at
a place of seeing it in nonspecific terms with measurable
doubts as well. That is okay, doubts will always be there,
thus, allow them to be your friend instead of a foe. It’s
easy to start with a gender preference — choosing either
women or men as having a higher purchasing balance for what
you are selling. If you don’t have a majority gender in
mind, choose the one you feel most comfortable talking with
or asking questions to.
Let’s dive in a little deeper, its time to start thinking
about your surveys and what to ask. Okay, don’t fade out on
me now. Generally, when people think of surveys, they
visualize or experience the sensations of long drawn out
processes that cost more money then they can afford or time
that they don’t have the patience for. Boy, do I remember
those days of thinking.
Let’s play together on this concept of taking surveys before
writing your business plan. At least, allow the old
perceptions to sit outside your door until you’ve finished
reading this article and learning of a new possible
alternative perspective. The perspective that surveys come
first and don’t need to be time-consuming, money-hungry,
must be done by professionals, mongrels.
Take the area you want to focus on, combine with your gender
preference, and begin there. For instance, if your area is
life coaching and you feel more comfortable with working
with women you have a starting point. This doesn’t mean you
will never coach men, set those thoughts aside; they will
block your progress and keep you stuck.
From knowing just this basic information, you can now create
a few simple surveys in no time at all that don’t require
any money. Even if you know more specifics about your
buyers, you might want to back it up to this point if you
are stuck in generating questions. To generate this survey
plan you don’t need to know whether your focus is for a
product or service, or even if its for electronic,
telephone, or in-person delivery, at this time.
The first question you want to generate and ask is what your
gender wants to buy next. If asked in narrow terms, they
will answer. If asked too broadly, they will respond with
“don’t know.” If the latter, rewrite the question more
specifically, then ask again. Whenever I start, I sometimes
have to revamp my questions five or six times. Just an FYI,
to help you understand that even the experts refine as they
go. Surveying is an evolutionary process.
A second survey question is for people who have purchased
from you in the past. What are looking for next? What do
they want to accomplish in the next few months or whatever
future terms they desire to talk about?
If you don’t have any customer history, then substitute.
Open the scope to what is the gender buying? What is the
cross between what you offer and what they want? What do
they want to do next (short-term) that falls within your
scope?
Continuing with the life coach illustration, what type of
women, what age areas, what type of self-development or
improvement topics are they purchasing now? What is the
regular step past this? What “new” hot topics in the
marketplace that meshes with your area? If you attend a
workshop, conference or seminar, examine the topic, and take
notes on the type of women attending. Record or ask their
age group. Ask a few to complete a survey while they are
there.
Ask one way, then another, and create a list of no more than
six multiple choice, yes or no, questions to ask. Then
continue to ask with whomever you meet, wherever you go.
Talk with the workshop leader or conference marketing people
and find out who they were targeting and why. If the event
is a match for you, collect copies of all their marketing
materials for language learning.
Ask friends, family members, or colleagues. Even if they
don’t think these groups fit within your current focus.
Just remember not to stay off focus when doing so. If you
attend a coaching school, ask other coaches that do what you
want to do. What are their clients into, what are they
selling them or what ideas have their clients told them that
they are looking for?
Your survey method you use is up to you. To ease into it,
you will want to ask in the form most comfortable for you at
the time. However, caution, most everyone chooses written
form first in order to avoid any negative responses. In a
B2B survey, negative responses never occur. Everyone knows
why a survey is important. In B2C (business to consumers)
be careful not to cross the line of interrogation or too
personal. Ask politely, with respect, and share why you
want to know.
The number one rule of getting survey responses — is
KISSing the questions — “keep them short, simple and as
specific as you can at the time.” Special note: Don’t use
the contraction and in your sentences. The contraction
“and” creates a multiple question, stacks questions, which
confuses readers and listeners on what you really asking.
As you go through the experience of completing your surveys,
new clarity will flower. The gender equation gets more
specific, the age group narrows, and the rest unfold. One
industry category might begin to show you where there is
greater revenue generation. Allow the data to drive you
towards the right direction. Don’t try to control or drive
it yourself. That struggle will cost you dearly.
If you’re survey request is in the form of writing, you can
offer something in return for an exchange of their time.
Usually saved for longer surveys, you can create a reward
for short surveys too. It’s its too early in your survey
process to know what prospects want, offer something
generic. Match the gift with the amount of time it takes
them to complete the survey. If this is the case, offer
something generic. Offer a $5 gift certificate from
Amazon.com. If local, ask you’re favorite restaurant if you
can offer a discount coupon that they will honor. There is
some fr*ee portion to the amount donated on the restaurant’s
part because it increases their clientele list.
It’s time to survey. Allow patience, time, and you will
want to schedule this as a regular routine in your business.
Next, plan your services and products to meet those needs
and then generate your business plan around them.

Some of us are content to follow a standard, regimented weight loss and exercise plan. For others, inspiration is necessary. We need a vision, beyond that of a slimmer body. And that ’s where long distance walking may come in. Walking is one of the best ways to lose weight. For one thing, it’s a gentle exercise, so you’re less likely to get injured and have to interrupt your exercise regimen. For another thing, anyone can do it - even if you have to start slow. Fitness guru Susan Powter, who once weighed 260 pounds (and now weighs about 103) started her weight loss with a simple walk around the block.
So by all means, if you need to start small, do so. Just start - walk a couple of blocks today, a couple more tomorrow, and keep doing it - for the long term. If your fitness level is better than that, walk more, or walk faster. Try some hills. Walk fast enough to break a sweat, every day.
Even more importantly, start thinking of yourself as a walker. Read the biographies of some of the great long distance walkers for inspiration. Fyyona Campbell, for example, was the first woman to walk around the world. (Walking around the world, by the way, is not literally possible for obvious reasons - but if you walk the length or width of any four continents, that counts as walking ‘around the world’ for the purposes of the Guiness Book or World Records.) Fyyona Campbell started when she was sixteen years old. A rebellious teenager, she ran away from home and set out to walk the length of the British Isles, from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Later, she walked Australia, Africa, Europe and America, thus becoming the first woman to officially walk ‘around the world’.
You may dream of becoming a long distance walker yourself - or you may set less lofty goals. In either case, if the idea of walking long distances appeals to you, just start at whatever point you happen to be at right now, in terms of your available time or your fitness level. To track the miles or kilometers you walk, invest in an inexpensive pedometer. This will give you a real sense of accomplishment. Even if you are only walking the seawall or the track near your home, look up the miles that you would have to walk to get to the next city. Then, set that mileage as your goal. See how long it takes you to walk that distance - can you do it in a week? In three days? Accomplish that goal, then set a new one. Can you walk the length of your province or state (or the equivalent) in the next month?
Besides giving you an inspiring goal that is more likely to keep you going in the long term, this approach to exercise gives you a unique perspective on things. As recently as a hundred years ago, going to the next city or town did entail a very long walk for most people. Of course, there were trains, and some people were lucky enough to have horses, buggies or stagecoaches, but by and large, the way that people got places was by walking. Think about that - how did they do it? How long did it take them? How did it feel? By committing to long distance walking, you get to find out the answers to these questions for yourself, first hand - you are literally bringing history to life!
With gas prices rising as they are, some people are using this as their motivation for walking. Try walking instead of driving, within reason. In fact, this is a way of life even today for many people in European cities, where the streets are too congested and gas too expensive to make driving a desirable option. Incidentally - or not - these people are seldom overweight.
Walking is something that requires little in the way of special equipment - comfortable walking or running shoes are recommended, of course - and nothing at all in the way of training or preparation. You just start, and then you stick to it. Find ways to make it interesting and inspiring, and then just do it.

In our previous Super Affiliate Strategies articles, we went over ways to increase your web site’s click through ratio. Today we are going to take an entirely different approach, this time we are going to be promoting affiliate programs outside of your web site.
I realize that there are a lot of affiliates that don’t have their own web site and are looking for effective ways to promote their affiliate programs. You don’t need to have your own web site to send targeted traffic to your affiliate program. In this article we are going to go over a few ways to effectively and profitably promote any affiliate program. In order to generate large affiliate commissions you need to send targeted traffic to your affiliate program, here are a few ways to do so:
Pay Per Click Advertising
Pay per click advertising is a great way to send targeted traffic to your affiliate program. Before you start promoting an associate program with pay per click advertising, you need to make sure that it offers a high commission percentage and has a conservation rate of 2% or higher. If your associate program doesn’t offer either one, then you shouldn’t be using pay per click advertising. If the associate program you are promoting doesn’t offer a high commission percentage nor have a high conservation ratio, then you won’t make any money with pay per click advertising. There are plenty of associate programs out there that offer high percentages and have excellent conservation rates.
If you are considering promoting more than one affiliate program, which many people do, including myself, then you should promote products that are not in indirect competition with each other. If you promote products that are in indirect competition with each other such as online marketing books, you would be using the same keywords, which would mean one ad is going to do better than the other. When you’re using the same keywords for more than one ad, your visitor could favor one ad over the other. Basically, your click through rate will be evaluated between the two ads instead of one. Instead of having one strong click through rate, you could have two weak ones. Your click through ratio plays a major role in your ads position.
The trick to having success with pay per click advertising is writing a killer ad and selecting appropriate keywords. When selecting your keywords, you shouldn’t pay more than $0.05 per click. Instead of increasing the cost per click of your ad and chance losing your shirt, you can find very cheap high traffic keywords that product excellent results. If you’re considering using pay per click to advertising for your associate program, then I recommend that you get Adword Analyzer. Adword Analyzer is an amazing piece of software and it will help you locate those overlooked and neglected high traffic keywords.
Ezine Advertising
Advertising in ezines is one of the best and easiest ways to send targeted traffic to your affiliate program. Even though pay per click may accurately target your market, they cannot target it precisely link ezines can. I’m not trying to discourage you from pay per click advertising, but with a great ad copy and carefully selected keywords its capabilities can be too broad. Ezines on the other hand, are precise in targeting a market and have a list of pre-qualified subscribers. A pre-qualified subscriber is when someone has voluntarily subscribed to receive additional information about a particular topic, making them qualified and easy to market to.
With so many ezines to choose from, it makes it hard to select a quality ezine to advertise in. The best way to find quality ezines to advertise your affiliate program in, is by using Directory of Ezines. There are free ezine directories on the web, but you get what you pay for. Most of the free ezine directories are saturated with discontinued ezines or are outdated. Moreover, with the Directory of Ezines, the ezines are always kept up to date, providing you with the latest information and new ezines everyday, making it a valuable resource.
Targeted Opt-In List
Another way you can promote your affiliate program is by renting targeted opt-in mailing list. Renting a targeted opt-in list is a quick access to expose your affiliate program to hundreds, even thousands of people that have opted-in to receive more information in that field. By renting a targeted opt-in list you will have to use a third party source. If you decide to use a third party source it is imperative that you find out how they are gathering the email addresses for their list. You want to use a third party opt-in list that has been gathering their email addresses properly. That way you know that the people have given permission to receive more information and didn’t use a email extracting software to harvest them.
I’m going to be straight with you, renting targeted opt-in lists can get expensive. The bigger the list is the more it’s going to cost you! It’s a good idea to start small and then gradually increase if you are successful. The reason you want to start small is because you want to see how successful your campaign is going to be. You don’t want to go with a large list, if the campaign isn’t going to do well, that’s a good way to lose money. You will need to conduct some tests before you start your campaign. Here are a few third party list providers you can use, Postmaster Direct, List Universe, and E-Target.

A significant reason behind websites that fail is the lack of an effective direct response sales message. Such a message is comprised of three elements (it must be):
- Captivating (it captures the reader’s attention)
- Riveting (it pulls her into reading further)
- Engaging (it calls her to act)
How can you incorporate those three vital elements? If I were to answer that question adequately it would likely take me an entire book the size of an encyclopedia! But for now, let me give you a succinct explanation.
First, write to be scanned. On the web, people are fast-paced, click-happy (with an attention span the size of a DNA molecule) and easily bored. The burden of getting visitors to stop what they’re doing and start reading rests entirely upon the headline, the headers and any grabbers things that help grab people’s attention (e.g., boxes, borders, graphics, etc).
But once you captured your readers’ attention, the next step is to keep them (and keep them reading). If you know the AIDA formula, you know this is where you need to generate interest. But I go a step further by saying that your job is even more important, here, since you must not only generate interest but also maintain it. And that is a much harder task.
The debate about long versus short copy can be wearisome for most copywriters, since they must constantly explain to their clients the benefits of using long copy. Even though long copy is statistically proven to outperform short copy, many clients still tell me that longer copy will never be read, and that on the Internet things are short and fast. And then they ask me to trim my drafts down, to which I fervently protest.
I completely agree that things are short and fast online. But there is a difference between grabbing people’s attention and holding on to it. Keeping readers riveted, hanging on to each and every word with an intense desire to know what’s next, is the goal of any direct response copy. (It sounds the same as reading a story, right? Well, it is.) Plus, why do you think we now include “stickiness” as a measuring stick in analytics?
Here’s a known fact: prospects who are qualified and genuinely interested in the product or service being offered always want more information about it, not less. If they are not qualified or interested from the outset, no matter how long or short the copy is, they will simply never buy. If they’re not interested or qualified, they won’t read 15 words, much less 1,500 words.
Shorter copy can lead to three potential outcomes: 1) a lower response ratio due to the lack of information; 2) an incessant need for more data, leading to a barrage of information requests or questions; 3) or a higher number of cancellations, refunds and returns since the product or service turned out to be different than what was initially expected by the client.
If long copy leads to poor results, it has nothing to do with the length. It has everything to do with the copy. It’s simply too boring. It didn’t elevate the reader’s level of interest, and it failed to keep her reading. Granted, it’s a challenge — and the reason why most online business owners usually opt for short copy, since writing long copy that engages, entices and entertains is very difficult. Yes, I did say “entertain.”
Good copy, on the other hand, is where the reader hangs onto every word, and becomes more and more excited the further she reads it. You see, long copy is like telling a good story — and copywriters are indeed storytellers. If your copy tells a compelling story, people will read it … All of it.
When it is written well, long copy can lead to a much greater level of response. Look at it this way: you visit a bookstore and notice a book that seems to entice you. For instance, the cover, the title and the cover copy, such as editorial raves or the author’s biography, pull you into the book. Even the opening chapter is delectable. So, you decide to buy the book.
The book seems to be inviting, exciting and entertaining, and the story compels you to read every single page, no matter how big the book is. In fact, the book is so good that you either wish it was longer or, once done, are prepared to read it over once more. You just can’t put the book down, even if time is limited, and you’re busy or preoccupied with other things.
However, as you read it further you become confused, perhaps a little frustrated, and you slowly begin to lose interest. The plot no longer invites you to keep reading. You drift away and find it harder to continue. Ultimately, the storyline fails to keep you excited about the book. So, you stop, close the book and then shelve it. Now, it gathers dust in your library.
Let me ask you, how many books in your library did you fail to finish reading (or to start reading, for that matter)? Perhaps some. Perhaps many. But the same thing holds true with direct response copy. Long copy works better than short copy. But it only works if it’s interesting, captivating and riveting. Call it “edutainment.” Copy must be educational and entertaining.
However, in a handful of cases shorter copy is warranted. But the only real way to know for sure is to test, test and test. Claude Hopkins, author of “Scientific Advertising,” wrote an important axiom:
“Almost any question can be answered cheaply, quickly and finally, by a test campaign. This is the only way to answer them, not by arguments around a table. Go to the court of last resort … The buyers of your product.”
As one of my mentors, Dan Kennedy, once said in a recent interview:
“Now, the person who says ‘But I would never read all that copy’ makes the mistake of thinking they are their customer … And they are not. We are never our own customers. (…) There is a thing in copywriting I teach called ‘message-to- market match’. It is this: when your message is matched to a target market that has a high level of interest in it, not only does responsiveness go up but readership goes up, too … The whole issue of interest goes up.”
The next step is to engage the reader. Again, you’re like an author telling a good story, and your copy must read like one. But like all good stories, the reader must become intimately involved in the plot. They see themselves in the shoes of the characters living out the story. And to do this, you need what I often call “UPWORDS.” It’s an acronym that means: “Universal picture words or relatable, descriptive sentences.”
First, using “universal picture words” means to use words and mental imagery that help to paint vivid pictures in the mind. Lace your copy with words that engage as many of the senses as possible, and cause your prospects to easily visualize already enjoying the benefits of your offer.
As for “universal,” it means to use words that appeal to, and can be easily interpreted by, the vast majority of readers. In other words, use words to “encode” your message so that, when they are read, can be decoded in the same way by your reader. Your job is to get the reader not only to read your copy but also to understand it, internalize it and appreciate it.
Remember this simple yet extremely important rule: “Different words mean different things to different people.” Some words can be interpreted in one way by one reader and in a different way by another. Your job, therefore, is to choose words that cater and universally appeal to the bulk of your readers in order for them to fully appreciate what you’re conveying.
For example, a challenge among cosmetic surgeons is the fact that prospective patients will call for an estimate over the phone when obviously the doctor needs to see her beforehand. (An initial, in-person assessment is always required, even by law, to see if that patient is a surgical candidate. Giving out an estimate implies that the patient is indeed a good candidate for the surgery when it may not be the case.)
Here’s the crux of the problem: most patients don’t understand the significance of seeing the doctor in person. Some may feel intimated by doctors or by surgery, while others may simply be in a rush and want to “shop around.” While they may understand the reason, they may not necessarily appreciate the importance because cosmetic surgery is an uncommon process. So, doctors will use analogies, referring to a more common approach such as cosmetic dentistry.
Unlike surgery, most people have had their teeth done at some point in their lives. So, doctors will say: “Like a dentist, I can not give you an estimate over the phone without any x-rays of your teeth let alone the knowledge of how many cavities you actually have.” People now understand not only the reason but also the importance of seeing the doctor in person in order to obtain an accurate estimate. This applies to every business.
Business owners often become so intimately involved with their product or business that they tend to forget to look at them from their prospect’s perspective. For example, they tend to use a language that only people in their industry or “on the other side of the fence,” so to speak, can fully appreciate. But that approach can backfire … And often does.
Therefore, your job is to use analogies, metaphors and comparisons, all in a language to which the prospect can relate. That’s what “relatable, descriptive sentences” mean. Words are not messages in themselves. They are merely symbols. Your choice of words can actually alter the understanding, and particularly the emotional impact, of your message.
Finally, use action words (i.e., active verbs and not passive ones) that not only compel your readers but also “propel” them into action. Tell them what they must do and take them “by the hand,” in other words. Don’t stick with mere verbs. Use action words that paint vivid pictures in the mind, too. And the more vivid the picture is the more compelling the request will be.
For example, you’re a financial consultant. Rather than saying something like, “Poor fiscal management may lead to financial woes,” say, “Stop mediocre money management from sucking cash straight out of your wallet!” (People can visualize the action of “sucking” better than they can “leading.”) Instead of, “Let me help you maintain your balance sheet,” say, “Borrow my eyes to help you keep a steady finger on your financial pulse.”

Do you need to start or grow your business but have
little money? Before you look to banks and similar
sources of financing, why not bootstrap your way to
business success?
A bootstrap is a small loop of leather or other
material that is found on the top rear or sides of a
boot. The purpose of the bootstrap is to help you
pull your boot on.
In business, bootstrapping has come to mean helping
oneself without seeking outside help. It means using
your own resources to finance, promote, and develop
your business.
Here, then, are some ways of financing your own
business by using your own initiative and depending
less on outside bank financing.
1. Operate a Home-Based Business
Operating your business from home could save you a
fortune. First of all, you eliminate the costs of
expensive commercial rent, commuting, et cetera.
As well, your business use of home expenses would be
deductible for income tax purposes. Since your home
is your base of operations, your travel and automotive
expenses from your home to clients would be deductible.
2. Accept Credit Cards
Rather than financing receivables and assuming the risk
for bad debts, why not accept credit card payments?
For more information about accepting credit cards, visit:
http://www.yenommarketinginc.com/creditcards.html
3. Drop Ship Products
Rather than financing and stocking inventory yourself,
consider drop shipping.
With drop shipping, when you make a sale you contact
the manufacturer or authorized distributor who ships
the product to the customer with your invoice and
shipping label. Advantages include no warehousing,
shipping, or inventory costs.
For more information about drop shipping, visit
http://www.yenommarketinginc.com/dropship.html
4. Use Your Customer`s Money
Selling memberships, subscriptions, gift certificates,
and coupon books are just a few ways of getting your
clients to pay upfront. Obtaining advance deposits
and retainers from your customers can help finance your
business operations and reduce or eliminate the need
for bank financing.
5. Licensing
Instead of trying to finance the manufacturing and
marketing of your invention, which could cost millions
of dollars before you have your first sale, why not license it
to a company with the necessary expertise and capital?
You will then receive royalties in return for your idea.
For more information about licensing, visit:
http://yenommarketinginc.com/licensing.html
6. Other Bootstrap Financing Methods
Aggressively control costs, barter, get extended terms from
suppliers, establish strict credit and collection policies
and procedures, rent (or lease) instead of buying equipment,
buy used equipment instead of new, sell off excess inventory
and equipment, obtain free publicity instead of paying for
advertising, and do whatever else is necessary to generate
cashflow and profits.
In these ways and many others not listed here, you may be
able to start and grow your business successfully with very
limited capital. Thus, you will avoid having to obtain
expensive debt or equity financing.
Many who were unable to obtain financing from any other source
have successfully bootstrapped their way to business success.

Free Content is ready made content that can be used on any
website for the purposes of promoting your website. It can be
anything that can be placed on a website, such as documents,
pictures, animations, templates, and just about anything else
you can think of. The catch is that it is, by definition, FREE!
It wouldn’t be “free” if the promoter tried to sell it. Besides,
that’s the whole point in submitting “Free Content”. To get the
message out to as many people as possible without the slow
progress of sales. Most people on the internet look for the
cheapest way to advertise. There is no cheaper way to advertise
than by “free advertising”.
Articles containing “Free Content” can be used to promote,
without actually going out and announcing the fact, the writer’s
own websites. Of course, you don’t want to write a whole article
that sounds like an ad. Besides, most article promoting websites
won’t accept those types of “articles” in their listings.
Instead, submit articles that give some type of information or
helpful hint about something. This gives viewers something to
latch onto in terms of relating with the authors.
Articles allow viewers to get a taste of the type of websites
the authors actually have. In many ways, this actually does the
advertising for you. When you submit articles that contain Free
Content, the people viewing the article will get an idea of just
what you and your website have to offer them; in effect, you are
actually “luring” prospective viewers to your site in this
manner.
There are special kinds of websites called “Free Article
Directories” that contain many different types of articles on
countless subjects usually for the purpose of giving the authors
widespread exposure to the populace. These Article Directories
basically give authors the freedom to post their articles on a
site and even send the same articles to many different websites
(including other Directories). It also allows them to reprint
other articles on their own website. In effect, these
directories give authors access to each other in addition to
their target audiences.

Globally recognized, Seven Jeans is a brand name known for the impeccable quality of its fabric and long lasting luster. Each pair is crafted in a unique way that distinguishes it not just from other company manufactured jeans but even from its own sister jeans.
Seven jeans is the foremost choice of countless people across the globe. The young as well as old love to wear this jeans that not just compliments their overall appearance but provide them wonderful fitting and complete comfort. The unique quality, design and cost-effectiveness of the Seven Jeans makes it dear to all.
But though this designer jeans is crafted out of the rough and tough but fine denim material and is available at an affordable price and, yet it requires extra care and protection. This is because of the artistic shade and shape given to the jeans. For instance, the color of the jeans is made to look lighter at certain areas (from thighs and knee etc.), some fine thread work done near or over the pockets and jeans becoming narrow from the bottom or tight over the thighs.
So you need to be careful not just while ironing your jeans but also while washing it. The ideal way to wash your seven jeans is to wash it upside down. Doing this will help you in two ways. First it will keep the color and the variations made in the shade of the jeans intact. Secondly the friction that develops while you wash several denim clothes together in a washing machine; gets reduced to a great extent. This is because of the fact that denim is a tough material, so in a washer full of jeans, the jeans merely rub against each other without any concrete wash. As a result the jeans loose their original texture and still remain dirty. Thus it is best to turn your jeans upside down and then put it in machine for washing or for drying.
Make sure that you do not use chemicals while washing your Seven jeans. Chemicals will not only reduce the strength of the fabric and life of the jeans but will also deteriorate its appearance. So it is better to use mild detergents or soaps that have less chemical and scent in them.
Even if your Seven jeans has become extremely dirty or there is some strong stain on it, never bleach it. Bleaching your jeans will alter its look completely. It is the worst thing you will do with your pair of Seven jeans and the money invested in it.
In order to retain the original fitting and shape of the jeans, make sure that the temperature of water is not too high. Be it machine-wash or hand wash, the temperature should be less than 50 degree Celsius i.e. 110 Fahrenheit.
The best way to enjoy the same fit and appearance of your Seven jeans, is to give it a handwash. Hand wash is the ideal option when your jeans is not too dirty. However in case of machine wash, wash the jeans separately from other colored garments.

I had a letter published in The Blade (Toledo, Ohio) and sent to
President Reagan, pleading with him not to commit the folly of
creating any foolish “Martin Luther King Day.” Our fellow black
Americans, generally speaking, still hated President Reagan
after the fact and still don’t practice the good things (there
were some good things) King preached.
If we’re to be judged by the content of our character rather
than the color of our skin, why continue to demand quotas and
curves and tolerate such racist organizations as the NAACP?
Why doesn’t somebody do a documentary on those humble folk
marching back then (with their useful idiot whites, too many
liberal Jews) with a split screen exposing “niggas with
attitude” (a black phrase), the rampant crime, outrageous rates
of illegitimacy, unemployment by choice, gangs, welfare
projects, black on black violence (not to mention assault on
others), the “menace to society” mentality (another black
phrase, thanks to excellent director Albert Hughes),
disproportionate black prison population and the verbal lynching
concerned blacks suffer mercilessly when they dare speak out
against such inexcusable poverty of the spirit and moral
degradation, slavery to sin and self-destruction?
It is appropriate on this black holiday (and that’s what it
amounts to, in all honesty), to consider this issue of race from
a biblical perspective that those horribly brainwashed by the
politically correct cult hate with a passion and rage against in
vile anarchist fashion, drowning out any reason and voice other
than their own.
Regardless, this biblical truth must be shared, must be made
known, while we still have the freedom to exercise our God-given
rights of speech and religion.
Is interracial marriage wrong? Did God intend for the races to
be separate? Did God divide the nations to preserve distinct
family ties?
The plain truth is made known in Race Matters.

Arborvitae are commonly used evergreen shrubs or trees useful in
urban areas where low maintenance and durability is needed. Many
cultivars with forms such as being globed in shape, columnar, or
narrow pyramidal, tend to be near buildings, doors, and
walkways. Other forms which are larger are used for screens and
buffers that are planted in rows.
These plants fill many basic landscaping needs.
The form of arborvitae is small, medium, or large depending
on the cultivar. Some reach 50′, others only 3′. Most prefer
full sun to partial sun. Planting in dense shade conditions
should be avoided. A moist , well drained, loamy soil in full
sunlight are ideal conditions for growing healthy arborvitae.
These plants will tolerate rocky, clay, urban conditions of heat
drought and pollution. The most important pest we have is
bagworms which must be controlled to prevent complete
defoliation. Some cultivars have multiple leaders which also
prove to be a detraction for the plant. Pruning out multiple
leaders in some cultivars is a simple remeady.
Our most popular Arborvitae is the Emerald Green arborvitae.
Many people prefer to spell them Arbor Vitae . It is a bright
light green color and narrow in shape. It makes a distinctive
and impressive natural fence. It is easy to grow ,plant, and
keep in shape.
The Hetz Midget arborvitae is a dwarf globe variety. This is a
good choice for along walkways and gardens. This is a tough
plant that is easy to install and not going to cost a lot. It
will maintain its color in the winter and will withstand snow
loads well. We carry these plants in 2 and 3 gal. pots. The
prices on these dwarfs vary from $15 to $30 depending on size
and quanity ordered.
Another small arborvitae that we grow in pots is the Rheingold
arborvitae. This is a small globe shaped plant that has a golden
green cast to it in the summer and a bronze winter color. We
also have the American Arborvita known as “Tiny Tim”.This
arborvita grows in zone 2 - 7. Its is a needled evergreen in the
Cupressaceae Family. It will grow in height from a half a foot
to 1 foot tall. Its spread will be about 1 to 1.5 feet. This is
a plant that requires little work. Selecting quality arborvitae
for the home landscape :
When you get to the nursery or garden center where you will
buy your arborvitae, pick out the healthiest, most robust plants
that have no evidence of disease or insect damage. The potting
medium should be moist, but not wet, and the roots should well
dispersed in the medium. Arborvitae that have roots growing from
the drainage holes or circling the top of the pot are less
desirable. Many people choose to buy arbs from a mail order
company, which is perfectly acceptable. However, realize that
most woody plants purchased from mail order catalogs will be
shipped dormant and bare root, that is, without any soil
attached to the root system. Such plants may be smaller in size
because of the expense of shipping. It is important to plant
such material immediately upon arrival. Generally it is best to
purchase one-year-old material from mail order companies since
this material is more vigorous and will transplant better. The
larger material that is offered is often composed of the less
vigorous plants held over from previous years. Most large sized
arbs are balled and burlaped. Don’t buy any arbs bare rooted
over 3′ tall. Any plant larger should be balled and burlaped.
These are just afew of the arborvitae and trees that we raise
on our Doylestown Pa. farm. We are pleased to show you these in
the field and discuss their habits and help you determine the
best plants to help you improve your landscape. Visit our other

Flowering bulbs are a favorite of many gardeners due to their diverse array of color and the fact that they bloom for many seasons without replanting. One added bonus with bulbs is that they can be divided and transplanted to other parts of the garden.
Many bulb patches, if not tended to properly, become overcrowded and the health of the plants starts to deteriorate. In this case you need to prune out the patch to restore both the health and the beauty of the landscape.
It is generally easy to tell when a planting of bulbs needs to be divided. One sure sign is when a previously well blooming planting of bulbs has begun to provide only sparse blooms. Most times the culprit is overcrowding, and the solution is to divide those bulbs. Properly dividing the bulbs will reduce the overcrowding and allow the remaining bulbs to bloom for vibrantly.
There are 5 types of bulbs corms, tubers, true bulbs, rhizomes, and tuberous roots and each has a different method of division.
True bulbs
To divide a true bulb, you should begin by carefully separating the original bulb from the smaller bulb growing at its base. When dividing lily bulbs, you should be careful to first remove the outer scales from the basal plate. After the outer scales are removed, the ends of the bulb should be dipped in a rooting hormone, and the bulb should be planted immediately.
Corms
Corms renew growth each year by producing a new corm. Sometimes they will grow small corms (or cormels) at the top of the parent corm. Wen you divide corms, just seperate any new corms or cormels from the original plant.
Tubers
As tubers mature, they increase both their size and the number of growing points. However, most tubers do not form distinct increases. Therefore, to divide tubers, a large tuber should be cut into two or more sections, being sure that each section contains at least one growing point.
Rhizomes
Rhizomes produce new plants from growth areas on their sides. You can divide them by breaking each section off - be sure that each of the new divisions has at least one growth point on it.
Tuberous roots
A tuberous root will contain several growing points. Some, like daylilies, form separate and distinct plants, which can simply be pulled apart. This type of sectioning is generally done in fall or summer while the plant is still in its growth stage. Other tuberous root plants, such as dahlias, are more difficult to separate. In order to separate more difficult plants like dahlias, you will need to cut the clumps apart so that each root has a growth bud from which to start. With these types of plants, it is best to separate them in early spring, before planting.
